Welcome to another edition of the Lakers Spotlight. This is pretty much our first complete episode, this is the set up of the show in the future for the most part. In this episode you see highlights and post game interviews from the GVSU Women's Soccer team on Nov. 1st against Ferris St. and their GLIAC Tournament Championship game against Saginaw Valley St. this past Sunday in which they claimed the GLIAC tournament Championship crown. Check out the ladies team as they raise the trophy! As for the GVSU Volleyball team, check them out in action against Lake Superior St. on November 1st. We also a special exclusive interview with WR Blake Smolen of the Grand Valley St. football team which took place a day after the Instant Classic against Ashland back on October 25th. We also give you updates on everything that has been going on in GVSU Women's Soccer, Volleyball, Football, Men's and Women's basketball. Come inside and check it out! GVSU vs. Ashland Game Highlights

This game was an Instant Classic and one of the best ever games played at Lubbers Stadium. GVSU defeated Ashland 48-42 in this one. If you missed the game or want to relive the game you should check out this episode. We walk you through the game showing you just exactly how much intrigue was involved on this night.Programming note next week we will have another episode which shows an in-studio interview with WR Blake Smolen. The Premiere of the Lakers Spotlight

Welcome to the Lakers Spotlight on GVTV. This is the first episode which we finished up around October 15. We will be covering all kinds of Grand Valley sports this year on the show. Right now we are covering GVSU football, volleyball, and women's soccer. We were at the Michigan Tech and Hillsdale football games which you can see highlights of in this episode. We also talk about what you can expect to see on the show throughout the year. Lastly we caught up GVSU students and got their response to the new sports talk show at GVSU called the Lakers Spotlight on GVTV.
